House hunting began Thanksgiving break we flew to Seattle than on to Port Townsend, Sequem, Port Angeles and few others in three days. We tried to stay in our tight budget of around $100K. Here is some samples of what we found.

The Big Change - What?
September 2009
"Retire," the counselor said. It sounds easy, but the notion has proven harder to grasp than I first thought. Oddly, my family and friends have a better take on it than I do. I'll have to put it on, wear it for awhile and see what I learn.
WHERE: United States - Family and grand children keeps us in the states (for now). U.S. map goes on the wall. Start with pins marking the places we would like to live. Read, “Best Places to Live” in Kiplinger magazine, research the web.

Life, what next?
Retiring
I'm 63 and its my last year teaching at a program improvement school...Ah but that is another story.
I'll start with the decision to retire.
1. Joy of teacher as been systematically programmed to death for teacher and students.
2. Health - up in the morning in the dark back home in the dark. By Saturday I'm wiped out, Sunday I'm back at school work, preparing for the week. Little time for and too exhausted to exercise daily. Gaining weight, hypertension, and breathing issues. Males short-lived on my father’s side.
3. Time to try something different.
